The Flirt by Kathleen Tessaro

2 Aug

“Unique situation available for a attractive, well-mannered, reasonably educated young man. Hours irregular. Pay generous. Discretion is a must.”

“Doesn’t that sound awfully intriguing? Hughie Venables-Smythe is a young, out of work actor, who is as pleasing as he is handsome. When he is approached with the opportunity to get paid for charming women, he jumps at the chance to be a professional flirt.

After learning the tricks of the trade, Hughie can’t help but take his newly found skills and apply them to his personal life when he meets Letitia Vane, a beautiful lingerie designer. But when Hughie begins to send Olivia Bourgault de Coudray, a work client and an unhappy wife, the exact same flirtatious notecards as Letitia, he will soon find out how quickly the lines between love, lust, and good old fashioned flirting can blur.

This is an excellent beach read!  I really liked how the lives of many different characters are changed from Hughie’s flirtatious actions. If you enjoyed “Love Actually,” are a fan of Bridget Jones, or can’t get enough of The Little Lady Agency, then this is definitely the book for you! Leave a comment and let me know if you would be offended if your mate was using the same flirting techniques on you that he used at work!
